Who can take part

  • You must be scheduled to have frozen ovarian tissue put back into your body.
  • You should have early menopause (ovarian failure) or irregular periods.
  • You must have negative tests for HIV, hepatitis B and C, and syphilis.
  • You need a recent normal Pap smear and approval from your oncologist.
  • Your frozen tissue must be free of cancer cells.
  • You cannot have endometriosis, untreated thyroid problems, uncontrolled diabetes, a BMI over 30, low platelets, a current bacterial infection, or a bleeding disorder.
