Who can take part

  • You are hospitalized for cirrhosis caused by hepatitis B or C.
  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You have had a positive hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) test for at least 6 months.
  • You have symptoms of liver failure or high blood pressure in the liver, and tests confirm cirrhosis.
  • You agree to take part and sign a consent form.
