Who can take part

  • You had minimally invasive spinal fusion or decompression surgery on your lower back (L1-S1) between 1 and 5 years ago.
  • You have had lower back pain for more than 3 months, and rate it as more than 4 on a 0–10 pain scale.
  • You are older than 18 and speak English.
  • You do not have active cancer, infection, serious spine conditions (like severe spinal stenosis), or a skin condition that keeps you from using a laser belt.
  • You have no history of drug misuse.
