Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for at least 3 months.
  • You are between 12 and 17 years old.
  • You have been feeling signs of depression (like sadness, low energy, or loss of interest).
  • Your blood sugar level (A1c) is 7.0% or higher in the last 3 months.
  • You are not currently seeing a therapist or counselor for talk therapy.
  • You have not started any new psychiatric medication in the last 8 weeks.
