Who can take part

  • You have Parkinson's symptoms like slowness, tremor, or stiffness.
  • A CT scan confirmed you have long-term inflammation of your appendix (chronic appendicitis).
  • Your blood clotting function is normal.
  • If you take Parkinson's medication, your dose has been steady for at least 2 weeks.
  • You do not have serious health issues like stroke, severe heart disease, or major swallowing problems.
