Who can take part
- You must be on the waiting list for a kidney from a deceased donor (not a living donor).
- You must be 18 or older and live at home (not in a hospital or nursing home).
- You may be either inactive or active on the waitlist, but if you're inactive, it should be for reasons like heart disease, frailty, obesity, lack of support, mental health, or incomplete tests — or if you're active, you should have low income.
- You cannot have severe thinking or memory problems, like dementia.
- You cannot have been in the hospital more than 4 times in the past year.
- You cannot currently be getting home nursing, physical therapy, or occupational therapy.
