This study creates a lab model of endometrial tissue from surgery samples to better understand and treat endometriosis. Researchers will collect tissue during your planned surgery (for endometriosis or another benign condition) to grow it in a dish and study it.

Who can take part
- You are female and between 18 and 50 years old.
- You have or have had hormonal birth control (like pills, patch, ring, implant, or IUD with hormones).
- You are being treated for endometriosis or another non-cancerous gynecologic condition that requires surgery.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or past natural menopause.
- You have no history of certain cancers (breast, ovarian, endometrial, cervical) or Lynch syndrome.
