Exercise dose and brain health in Parkinson's
Part of Brain & nervous system clinical trials.
This study looks at how different amounts of physical exercise affect brain chemicals, movement symptoms, and brain connections in people with Parkinson's disease. You would walk and do exercises while researchers track changes over time.

This trial studies whether a physical activity program can improve brain health and thinking skills in people with Parkinson's disease who also have mild cognitive impairment. It is designed for those who are not already very active.
This trial studies whether doing regular moderate aerobic exercise can help protect the brain in people with Parkinson’s disease. It also includes people without Parkinson’s to compare exercise effects, using fitness and safety screening to keep everyone safe.
This trial tests whether a structured exercise program can change how your brain uses energy in Parkinson’s disease. It may help improve symptoms or brain-related measures, especially in people who currently exercise very little.
This study looks at whether physical activity can reduce inflammation in the brain for people with Parkinson's disease. It aims to understand how exercise might help slow the progression of the disease.
This study tests whether a supervised exercise program can improve memory and thinking in people with Parkinson's disease. You may be able to join if you are between 50 and 80, have mild to moderate Parkinson's, and can walk independently.
This trial tests whether a high-intensity functional training program (a mix of strength, balance, and endurance exercises) can improve both physical movement and thinking skills in people with early-stage Parkinson's disease. You may qualify if you are in the early stages, exercise regularly, and can walk independently.
