Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You are willing to sign a consent form to join the study.
  • You are getting a new heart device implant or having your old device's battery replaced.
  • Your surgery is planned as an outpatient procedure (you go home the same day).
  • You do NOT have severe vision or hearing problems, claustrophobia, motion sickness, epilepsy, or an active infection or open wound on your face or eyes.
