Who can take part
- Your child must have severe pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and need treatment with a prostacyclin drug given through an IV or under the skin.
- PAH diagnosis must be confirmed by a right heart catheterization or, in very young children, by an echocardiogram.
- Your child must not be allergic to prostacyclin-like medicines.
- Your child cannot have uncorrected heart defects that need surgery in the next 5 months.
- Your child must not have any significant lung disease.
- Girls who can become pregnant must use two reliable forms of birth control and not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
