Who can take part
- You are 16 to 21 years old
- You weigh between 75 and 150 kilograms (about 165 to 330 pounds)
- You have a BMI over 30 or above the 95th percentile for your age
- You have been diagnosed with fatty liver disease or have elevated liver enzymes
- You have not had weight loss surgery, used certain weight loss medications, or taken empagliflozin before
- You are not pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or using tobacco
