Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and have a suspected eye infection (keratitis) being evaluated by a doctor.
- You live close enough to the hospital (Sorlandet Hospital HF) to travel there for study visits.
- You agree to take part in the study.
- You have not been treated for a similar eye infection in the last 6 months.
- Your cornea (the clear front part of your eye) is not severely thinned (more than 50% thinning).
- You have not used any antibiotic eye drops except Chloramphenicol for this infection.
