Who can take part

  • You have a type of uterine cancer called endometrioid endometrial cancer or a related type called carcinosarcoma with an endometrioid part.
  • Your cancer has estrogen receptors (ER-positive), meaning at least 1 out of 100 cancer cells test positive for a protein that feeds on estrogen.
  • Your tumor does not have a mutation in the TP53 gene (it is 'wild-type'), and your cancer is 'mismatch repair proficient', meaning it has normal DNA repair.
  • You have just finished 4 to 10 rounds of chemotherapy that included a taxane drug (like paclitaxel) and either carboplatin or an immunotherapy drug (like pembrolizumab).
  • You had advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer that was measurable or visible on scans, and you can start the study pills between 3 and 8 weeks after your last chemo dose.
  • You are at least 18 years old, able to swallow pills, and your blood counts and liver/kidney function are within certain limits.
