Removing part of a brain lobe for certain glioblastomas

Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old and have just been diagnosed with a high-grade glioma that hasn't been treated yet (you may have had a biopsy only).
- Your tumor is in one of the front, side, top, or back parts of the brain (frontal, temporal, parietal, or occipital lobe) and does not touch certain deep or middle areas.
- Your MRI scan shows the whole tumor can be removed, and you can have an MRI with contrast dye.
- You are in fairly good physical shape (KPS score of 70 or higher, meaning you can care for yourself).
- After surgery, you plan to receive the standard treatment called the Stupp regimen (radiation and chemotherapy).
