Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You can read and understand English or Spanish.
  • You fall into one of these three groups: 1) Have precancerous stomach changes (like gastric atrophy or intestinal metaplasia) or a history of early stomach cancer treated with endoscopy; 2) Are a healthy person having a routine endoscopy; or 3) Have early stomach cancer and are having surgery at MSK.
  • You cannot have had certain genetic conditions (like Hereditary Diffuse Gastric Cancer Syndrome) or specific high-risk esophageal or duodenal lesions.
