Who can take part
- You are 55 years old or older.
- You have been diagnosed with non-invasive (DCIS) or small invasive breast cancer that has not spread to lymph nodes.
- You are willing to have breast-conserving surgery (lumpectomy) and want to keep your breast.
- For invasive cancer: the tumor is removed with a clear margin of at least 2 mm. For DCIS: at least 3 mm.
- Your tumor is hormone-receptor-positive (ER at least 30% and PR at least 1%) and HER2-negative.
- You have not been diagnosed with breast cancer on the same side before, and you have never had radiation to your chest on that side.
