This study looks at a blood test done early in pregnancy (NIPT) to see if it can help predict conditions like preeclampsia, preterm labor, or gestational diabetes. If you had this test and had a healthy pregnancy or one of these complications, you may be able to join.

Who can take part

  • You are pregnant with one baby (not twins or more)
  • You had a non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT) at 9 to 13 weeks of pregnancy, and the results were low-risk
  • Your NIPT blood sample is still stored at the lab
  • You either had a healthy pregnancy that went to at least 37 weeks, or you were diagnosed with preeclampsia, preterm labor (PPROM), or gestational diabetes
  • You do not have a history of certain health problems like diabetes or high blood pressure before pregnancy, or any major uterine issues
