Who can take part

  • You have flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, or body aches.
  • Or you have a confirmed airway infection (like bronchitis or pneumonia).
  • You do NOT have an active cancer right now.
  • You are NOT taking medications that suppress your immune system (except for hydrocortisone).
  • If you are a healthy volunteer, you must not have had an airway infection in the past 4 weeks, or be on antibiotics or immune-suppressing medicine.
