Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You have been diagnosed with a miscarriage in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.
- You are scheduled for a procedure called ultrasound-guided manual vacuum aspiration (USG-MVA) to remove the pregnancy tissue.
- You are willing to be randomly assigned to receive acupuncture with a small electrical device (Acu-TENS) during the procedure.
- You do not have a bleeding disorder or skin problems at the acupuncture site.
