Who can take part

  • You are a woman between 21 and 42 years old.
  • You have infertility and need an egg retrieval for IVF.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18.5 and 29.9.
  • You have regular periods and good egg supply shown by recent blood tests and ultrasound.
  • You are receiving hormone injections to stimulate your ovaries for egg retrieval.
  • You choose to use tramadol for pain relief during the procedure.
  • You do not have conditions like severe pelvic scars, a pacemaker, or endometriosis.
