Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You are able to give written consent to participate.
- You are scheduled to have one breast removed (mastectomy) without having immediate reconstruction (no new breast built at the same time).
- You may also have lymph node surgery on that side (sentinel node biopsy or lymph node removal).
- You are not having both breasts removed in the same surgery or having reconstruction at the same time.
