Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old and in reasonably good health (ECOG performance status 0, 1, or 2).
- You have a type of B-cell lymphoma that is CD20-positive, such as follicular lymphoma, marginal zone lymphoma, Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia, or a variant of hairy cell leukemia.
- You have not had prior chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or radiation for this lymphoma.
- You have at least one measurable tumor: a lymph node >1.5 cm or another area >1.0 cm on a CT or MRI scan.
- Your blood counts and organ function are adequate (hemoglobin at least 7, platelets at least 50, neutrophils at least 1.0, and creatinine clearance at least 30).
- You are not pregnant, not breastfeeding, and willing to use effective contraception during and for a period after treatment.
