  • You have a premolar (a back tooth) that is fully grown in and healthy.
  • You have no cavities or fillings in that tooth.
  • Your tooth has never had a root canal or any other dental work.
  • You are in good overall health (classified as ASA I, meaning no serious medical conditions).
  • You have no signs of tooth infection, pulp stones, or other problems seen on an x-ray.
