Who can take part
- You are 18 to 75 years old.
- You have not had any previous treatment for your liver cancer (like surgery, chemo, or targeted therapy).
- Your liver is still working fairly well (Child-Pugh score 7 or less).
- You are able to take care of most daily activities on your own (ECOG 0 or 1).
- Your liver tumor can be removed by surgery, but it is at high risk of coming back (for example, a single tumor 5 cm or larger, or multiple tumors, or the tumor has spread into nearby blood vessels but not to other organs).
- A special computer model using your tumor tissue, scans, and genetic data predicts that you will benefit from a treatment plan of HAIC (hepatic artery infusion chemotherapy) combined with lenvatinib (a targeted pill) and a PD-1 inhibitor (immunotherapy).
