Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have not had any prior treatment for your liver cancer (like surgery, radiation, or medicine).
  • Your liver function is good (Child-Pugh score 7 or less), and you are in generally good health (ECOG 0 or 1).
  • You have intermediate-stage liver cancer (BCLC stage B) that can be safely removed with surgery, confirmed by an MRI.
  • A biopsy has confirmed you have hepatocellular carcinoma (a specific type of liver cancer).
