  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with colorectal cancer (cancer of the colon or rectum).
  • You are scheduled for surgery to remove the tumor or any cancer that has spread (metastases).
  • You do not have HIV.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You can understand and read study information, and are willing to follow trial procedures for 5 years.
