This trial tests a drug called fruquintinib, given alone or with a chemotherapy infusion directly into your liver, for people whose colorectal cancer has spread to the liver and has stopped responding to standard treatments. It aims to find a new option for patients with limited cancer outside the liver.

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver (confirmed by scan or biopsy).
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan.
  • If cancer is outside the liver, it must be limited (small spots in the lung or lymph nodes only).
  • Your cancer has grown within 3 months of your last standard treatment, or you couldn't tolerate that treatment.
  • Your liver and kidney function are good (based on blood tests), and you are in generally good health (ECOG 0 or 1).
