  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You do not drink alcohol.
  • You have not been diagnosed with other liver diseases such as hepatitis, autoimmune liver disease, or Wilson's disease.
  • You are not taking any medications or herbal supplements that could affect your liver.
  • You are willing to have a blood test and an abdominal ultrasound.
