Who can take part

  • Your child must be 8 to 18 years old.
  • Your child must have a weight at or above the 85th percentile for their age and sex (by Turkish standards).
  • Your child must have fatty liver on ultrasound or higher-than-normal liver enzymes.
  • Your child must have at least one cardiometabolic risk factor (like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or diabetes).
  • A parent or legal guardian must give permission, and children will also be asked for their agreement.
