Personalized treatment for advanced breast cancer using lab-grown tumor models

Metastatic Breast Cancer

Part of Cancer, Skin clinical trials.

This trial tests a personalized approach to cancer treatment. Doctors will grow a ‘mini-tumor’ from a biopsy of your cancer in the lab to help find the best therapy for you. It is for people with advanced breast cancer that has not responded well to standard treatments.

Biobank study using tumor tissue to grow patient tumor models

This study takes small samples of your breast tumor tissue after (or during) treatment and grows them in lab animals to better study breast cancer. It may help researchers test future ideas for treating aggressive breast cancer types like triple-negative or Luminal B.
