Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must speak English
  • Your breast cancer must be hormone-receptor-positive and HER2-negative (not caused by HER2 protein)
  • Your cancer must have advanced or spread, and stopped responding to previous hormone therapy or CDK4/6 inhibitors
  • You must be willing to have a biopsy (a small tissue sample taken from your tumor)
  • You must be in generally good health (able to care for yourself with minimal assistance)

Surgery and Radiation Added to Standard HER2+ Breast Cancer Treatment

This study tests whether adding surgery to remove the breast tumor and radiation therapy to destroy remaining cancer spots improves outcomes for people diagnosed with HER2-positive breast cancer that has already spread to a few other parts of the body.
