AI study for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy using heart tests

Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study uses artificial intelligence to analyze ECGs and echoes from people with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) to improve how the disease is detected and managed. If you have HCM with a thickened heart wall and available heart tests, you may help train the AI.

Who can take part

  • You have a diagnosis of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) with a maximum heart wall thickness measured over 15 mm on an echo or MRI.
  • The thickening of your heart muscle is not explained by other conditions like severe high blood pressure, cardiac amyloidosis, or severe aortic stenosis.
  • You have at least one prior ECG or echo that can be shared with the study.
  • If you've had a cardiac MRI, there should be no signs of abnormal substance build-up in the heart muscle.

NCT01091480Recruiting
French heart ultrasound study for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

This is an observational study (it mainly tracks what happens over time) for people with thickened heart muscle due to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. You may be eligible if an echocardiogram (heart ultrasound) shows the required thickness and you don’t have certain heart valve disease.

HCM registry and DNA/imaging data collection study

This study collects health records, heart ultrasound (echo), MRI images, and optional DNA testing for people with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). It aims to build a large database to better understand HCM and support future research and care.

NCT07263204Recruiting
AI for diagnosing and predicting hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

This trial uses artificial intelligence to help diagnose and predict outcomes for people with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), a condition where the heart muscle becomes thickened. It may help doctors better understand your condition and plan your care.

AI heart screening for cardiomyopathy using CT scans

This trial uses an artificial intelligence system to analyze coronary CT scans (CCTA) to help detect various types of heart muscle diseases called cardiomyopathies. The goal is to see if the AI can catch signs of these conditions earlier, possibly leading to quicker diagnosis and treatment.

NCT07398950Enrolling by invitation
AI screening for a heart condition called ATTR-CM

This study uses artificial intelligence (AI) to look at your heart tests (ECG and echo) and find people who might have a specific heart muscle disease called ATTR-CM. The goal is to catch it earlier so treatment can start sooner.

Heart MRI to Understand Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

This trial uses a special heart MRI to better understand different types of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (thick heart muscle). It may help doctors tell apart various forms of the condition and guide treatment.
