Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have a kidney stone that is between 1 and 2 cm in size, or a stone in the upper part of the tube from kidney to bladder that is less than 15 mm
  • You are willing to have the treatment and be followed up
  • You do not have a kidney that is in an unusual position (ectopic kidney)
  • Your stone is not invisible on X-ray (radiolucent)
  • You do not have severe spine or ribcage deformities (like kyphoscoliosis)
