  • Be older than 18 years
  • Have a stone in the lower part of the urine tube (distal ureter) measuring at least 3 mm on an X-ray
  • Be willing and able to give informed consent
  • Have no active bladder/urine-tract infection
  • Be able to safely lie in the required position (either on your back or stomach) for the treatment
