Who can take part
- You are 21 years or older
- You have one kidney stone in your ureter (the tube between your kidney and bladder)
- The stone is between 5 and 10 millimeters in size
- The stone is not too hard (a CT scan will check this)
- You do not have an untreated urinary tract infection or a bleeding disorder
- You can lie still for 30 minutes during the procedure
