Who can take part

  • You are scheduled to have a type of kidney stone surgery called retrograde intrarenal surgery.
  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You are generally healthy or have only mild health problems (classified as ASA I or II).
  • You are fully awake, alert, and able to follow instructions.
  • You have not had brain surgery or eye surgery before.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 30 or less.
