Who can take part
- Women between 18 and 65 years old
- Having laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery for gynecologic cancer
- Classified as ASA I, II, or III (generally healthy to having a serious but stable condition)
- No diabetic eye disease (diabetic retinopathy)
- No glaucoma
- No history of stroke or other cerebrovascular disease
- Not pregnant
- No known allergy to anesthesia drugs
- Not severely obese (BMI not above 40)
