This study tests a new program called 'Mama Empoderada' (Empowered Mom) to help prevent depression and anxiety in migrant mothers who have young children. If you join, you'll learn skills to support your mental health and bond with your child.

Who can take part
- You are a mother of at least one child under 6 years old who lives with you
- You are 18 years or older
- You moved to Tijuana from another Latin American country (not Mexico) or you were born in Mexico but had to leave your home and move to Tijuana
- You can speak Spanish
- You do not have severe depression or anxiety right now (we'll check with a short screening)
- You can commit to the full length of the 'Mama Empoderada' program
