Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • Your liver transplant is needed because of alcohol-related liver disease (could be the main reason or a secondary reason).
  • You have been moved from the intensive care unit (ICU) to a regular hospital ward (hepatology or surgery).
  • The main reason for your transplant is not severe alcohol-associated hepatitis.
  • You can be followed up by the study team for the next 2 years.
