Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for jaw surgery (single or double jaw, possibly with additional procedures like chin or nasal surgery).
  • Your surgery starts before 12:00 PM (noon).
  • You are in generally good health (classified as ASA I or II).
  • You do not have diabetes, GERD, or a history of motion sickness or severe nausea after surgery.
  • You are not taking a scopolamine patch before surgery.
  • You can understand English.
