Who can take part
- You must have a type of bladder cancer called urothelial carcinoma (including variants; pure small cell is not allowed).
- Your tumor must be tested and found to have high levels of a protein called EphrinB2. This test is done by a special lab.
- You must not have had any cancer treatment (such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or targeted therapy) in the past 12 months.
- Your cancer must be at a certain stage (for one arm: stage II, III, or IVA without spread to lymph nodes; for another arm: measurable disease that has not spread beyond the bladder).
- You need to be in good overall health (performance status 0 or 1) and have adequate organ function (kidney, liver, blood counts) as shown by blood tests.
- You must be willing to provide a tumor sample (from an earlier biopsy or surgery) for testing.
