Who can take part
- You are female and 18 years or older.
- Your breast cancer has come back or spread to other parts of the body.
- You have already received standard first-line treatment, and your doctor expects you to live at least 3 more months.
- You are in fairly good health (ECOG score 0-2, meaning you can care for yourself and are up and about more than half the day).
- Your liver, kidneys, and bone marrow are working well enough (based on recent blood tests).
- You are not pregnant, do not need blood thinners, and have no active infections or history of organ/bone marrow transplant.
