Who can take part
- You are a woman age 18 to 80.
- You have triple-negative breast cancer that has returned or spread (confirmed by pathology and scans).
- Your scans show at least one measurable tumor area.
- You have not had chemotherapy for the advanced/recurrent stage; if you had chemo before, you must be at least 12 months past it (or 6 months past radiation).
- Your overall health is fairly good (ECOG performance status 0 to 2) and you’re expected to live at least 3 months.
- You meet certain blood and organ check results (for example, adequate blood counts, liver tests, and kidney function) and have safe clotting test results.
- You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding, and you must be able to take medicines reliably by mouth (no major swallowing problems or certain gut issues).
