This study uses a special PET/CT scan (68Ga-DOTATATE) to see if it can better find soft tissue sarcomas. You will also have a standard PET/CT scan for comparison, and the results may help guide your treatment.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma, and your doctor plans to treat it with medicines that work throughout your body (systemic therapy).
  • You have had a standard PET/CT scan within the last 30 days at Ohio State University.
  • You are not allergic to somatostatin or similar drugs.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or currently in jail.
  • You do not have an active infection, severe claustrophobia, or a body size that prevents you from fitting into the scanner.
