Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 75 years old and in fairly good health (able to care for yourself).
- You must have a type of soft tissue sarcoma (like liposarcoma, leiomyosarcoma, or undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma) or melanoma that has spread and cannot be removed with surgery.
- If you have liposarcoma or leiomyosarcoma (non-uterine), you must not have had a specific type of chemotherapy called anthracycline (like doxorubicin) before.
- If you have undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma or melanoma, you must have already received standard treatment.
- You must have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan.
- Your major organs (like heart, liver, kidneys) must be working well enough, and you must not have had another cancer in the last 5 years.
