- You were diagnosed with celiac disease at age 18 or older.
- Your diagnosis was confirmed by a biopsy showing damage (villous atrophy) and positive blood tests, and you got better after starting a gluten-free diet.
- You have been strictly following a gluten-free diet for at least 2 years.
- Your latest blood test for celiac antibodies (tTG) is either negative or only slightly positive (less than 2 times the normal level).
- You do not have other serious intestinal conditions, are not taking immune-suppressing medications, and do not have other major health problems.
