Who can take part
- You must have a type of bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma) that cannot be removed with surgery or has spread to other parts of the body.
- Your cancer must have a specific change in the IDH1 gene, as shown by a blood or tissue test.
- You must have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans.
- Your blood counts (white cells, red cells, and platelets) need to be at a certain level, and your liver and kidney function must be acceptable.
- You cannot have had prior treatment for advanced bile duct cancer (except for one cycle of the same three-drug combination, in some cases).
- You cannot have active autoimmune diseases, certain infections (like hepatitis B, C, or HIV), or a significant heart rhythm problem.
