Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You are having your first shoulder replacement surgery on that side.
  • Your surgery will be done at the University of Utah.
  • You do not have a heart pacemaker, spinal cord stimulator, or other implanted electrical device.
  • You have not had surgery on the shoulder blade area or nerve damage on that side.
  • You are willing to follow the rehab plan after surgery.
