  • Be generally healthy with no chronic conditions
  • Not be pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Not take certain medications like painkillers or antihistamines
  • Have no skin problems, tattoos, or scars on the test area
  • Avoid alcohol and painkillers 24 hours before study days
