This study looks at how language, speech, and motor skills change in people with mild cognitive impairment (early memory problems) due to Alzheimer's disease, and in people with Alzheimer's disease. Who can take part

  • You have either mild cognitive impairment due to Alzheimer's, Alzheimer's disease (mild or moderate), or you are a healthy older adult for comparison
  • Your first language is Dutch or Frisian
  • You can walk on your own (with or without a walking aid)
  • You can squeeze with each hand
  • You do not have any other condition that affects your brain, such as a stroke, Parkinson's, or a psychiatric disorder like depression
  • You do not have hearing or vision problems that make communication difficult
